South African Amapiano Awards returns on 12 December 2023

The excitement is building as the second annual edition of the South African Amapiano Music Awards returns. Held at The Galleria in Sandton on 12 December 2023, this prestigious event will be hosted by the multi-talented performer Bontle Moloi AKA Bontle Modiselle. And the red carpet will be anchored by Bontle Smith and Vyno Miller.

As the official countdown begins, SAAPA is pulling out all the stops to ensure an unforgettable evening. Musa Keys, Toss, MaWhoo, Justin99 & Pcee and Babalwa M are part of the top-tier talent billed to set the Amapiano’s Biggest Night stage on fire with electrifying live performances.

One of the most anticipated categories is the coveted “Amapiano Music Producer Of The Year” award which features prominent Amapiano producers such as Kelvin Momo, Kabza Da Small, Mellow & Sleazy, Busta 929 and Soa Mattrix and with this being one of the most anticipated categories of the night, fans are eager to see who will be crowned Mzansi’s number one Amapiano Music Producer.

After the main show, celebrations will continue into the night with the official after-party held at the prestigious Liv Night Club in Sandton.

The main show is strictly by invitation and is not open to the general public, however, the ceremony will be broadcast on SABC 1 and SABC Plus.
