Nathi Jewellers by Nkosinathi Hadebe is a jewellery manufacturing company specializing in design and manufacturing. They believe their company should be nominated for this great opportunity as they are a young dynamic company with its core values in sustainable development.

In their manufacturing process they believe in 100% ethical practices that are environmentally friendly.

As part of their strategic solution, they use plastic in manufacturing their products. Therefore, this provides a solution to the current waste problem and decreases pollution where they are situated.

Using Recycled Metal

As a manufacturing company, Nazo Accessories creates opportunities to use recycled metal. For example, they use a range of recycled metals including wire, silver, brass metal, acrylic, and pine wood.

Job Creation

Nathi Jewellers currently employs seven (7) youths in a manufacturing plant, this is a great achievement as South Africa is facing a youth unemployment crisis. This program also allows them to interact and learn from a great variety of people and cultures. This will also assist the business as they are currently attempting to move into the export market arena which will yield great growth and enable the company to create more job opportunities.

Nathi Jewellers was nominated by Business Art South Africa (BASA) in 2019 and became one of the top ten finalists. The company won second place in a pitch competition in the following year, 2020. They also won first place in a Steers competition (Panda-Preneur) in 2021 and as well being nominated and invited to exhibit a new range of jewellery at FACIM, Maputo, Mozambique, in 2022.
