Soweto Farmer’s Market delights attendees with great food, live entertainment and more

The Soweto Farmer’s Market, held on Sunday, April 14 at the Soweto Equestrian Centre in Rockville, Soweto, once again captivated attendees with its vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings. 

This year’s market welcomed 248 guests who flocked to explore 47 stalls brimming with mouthwatering food and drinks, unique crafts, and an array of local products. The event promised a day packed with local food, live entertainment, horseback riding, and family-friendly activities, delivering on its commitment to providing a memorable experience for all who attended.

Media guests and influencers were treated to a delightful tasting experience at the Marula Cheesecake Passion stall by Sonia Booth, where they savoured exquisite flavours and indulged in culinary delights. Meanwhile, Manana & George MCC and wines added to the festivities with their selection of MCCs and wines, enhancing the overall experience for attendees. 

Their exquisite selection of MCCs and wines truly elevated the event and left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. 

Marula Cheesecake passion stall was an absolute highlight, providing our guests with a truly unforgettable tasting experience. 

The crowd was enthralled by the captivating performance of the Soweto live band, whose energetic performance had attendees singing along lyric to lyric, creating an electric atmosphere throughout the day.

Attendees also had the opportunity to enjoy a scenic horse-riding experience, soaking in the breathtaking views of the Equestrian Centre and adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
