Nutrific Launches Free Workplace Breakfast Initiative for Cape Town Companies

Nutrific has launched a new workplace breakfast initiative aimed at helping companies start the day better, offering Cape Town offices the opportunity to receive a free desk-delivered breakfast for their teams.

The Better Mornings Project invites companies to register for a free breakfast drop, bringing Nutrific’s single-serve cereal biscuits directly into the workplace, where rushed mornings and skipped meals have become routine.

Early participation from leading South African businesses already includes Woolworths, ABSA, Investec, Old Mutual, TFG, Capitec, Shoprite Checkers, Takealot, and Media24, signalling strong early demand among corporate teams.

Globally, up to 30 percent of adults regularly skip breakfast, with time pressure cited as the main reason. In office environments, early commutes and packed schedules often mean breakfast is the first thing to go.

“We wanted to launch this product in a way that reflects how people actually live and work today,” says Andrew Harrison, Head of Sales at Alpen Food Co. “This is about meeting people where they are, at their desks, between meetings, with a smarter, lower-sugar option that delivers sustained energy without the crash.”

Companies can register online, and selected workplaces will receive a fully delivered desk breakfast drop for their teams. “This isn’t about pushing product,” Harrison adds. “It’s about trust. When you show up in a small but useful way, with no strings attached, people remember that.”

The Nutrific single-serve pouch format is designed for office life, where convenience and portion control matter.

“This solves a problem most offices recognise instantly,” says Harrison. “Breakfast that gets finished, wasted or forgotten. This is a portion-controlled option that lives in your desk drawer and works around your day.”

He adds that each pouch delivers a complete, portion-controlled breakfast, sustained energy without a mid-morning crash, in a convenient, no-prep format. “It’s a flexible option that can be enjoyed on its own or with milk, yoghurt, and in smoothies.”

Cape Town companies can register now to receive a free Nutrific desk breakfast delivery while space is still available.
