PUMA Taps Daniëlle Cathari for a Textural Take on Suede & Speedcat
PUMA’s first partnership with Daniëlle Cathari centres around the Suede and Speedcat, as the Dutch designer reimagines both silhouettes with playful materials rooted in nature.
Rich, fuzzy suede envelops both the Suede and Speedcat, bringing a tactile and visual richness to two PUMA icons.

Through details and textural references, the collaboration evokes a minute but living world beneath our feet. Colourways are inspired by vibrant and sometimes otherworldly fungi, while debossed shapes on the heel of each shoe resemble peering spider eyes, doubling as Cathari’s logo.
Her tonal take on the Suede is rendered in a rich red cap-mushroom-inspired hue, while the matching Speedcat takes on a softer dusty moss tone, with Cathari’s logo stamped on each respective tongue, and a classic gum sole underneath. Both styles come with interchangeable lacing options, adding an element of customizability.

Soft textures and natural tones take focus in the collaboration’s campaign, where the Speedcat and Suede are shown at ease.
