EYLIN UNIVERSE, born Deylin Malachi, is a Cape Town-based DJ and producer shaping pulsating, sub-heavy soundscapes that are equal parts transcendent and driving.

His music is a direct extension of lived experience, drawing inspiration from the queer techno culture he immersed himself in while living in Berlin. For DEYLIN UNIVERSE, music is community, a way of building connection through movement, rhythm and the collective release of a packed dance floor.

Blending raw, underground grit with dreamlike atmospheres, his work pushes toward a new perspective within techno, expanding the genre’s emotional and cultural dimensions while remaining rooted in its physical intensity.

Within Cape Town’s electronic music landscape, DEYLIN UNIVERSE places his queer identity at the centre of his work. His sets assert a sound and presence that feel both deeply personal and powerfully communal. Whether in a tunnel, basement or warehouse, his music evokes heavy bass, sweat, dust and freedom, a reminder that rave culture, at its core, is about belonging and reimagining what techno can be.
